I want every Baby Booty® class to feel like a workout you did before having kids. The kind where you can escape into your head and not worry about anything else. You can focus on your needs that day. Your kids are there, but they’re having a blast with the other babies/toddlers.
Our studios are geared towards adults as an escape from a house filled with toys, laundry piles, dishes and more – you know what I’m talking about! I want parents to feel like they’re coming to hang out with friends and move their bodies and feel like themselves ( I felt I lost a lot of my physical and emotional self in the early Postpartum months).
During my first pregnancy, I wanted to stay active to help prepare for childbirth and the physical demands of motherhood, so I took spin, barre and pilates classes until I was 39 weeks pregnant.
After eagerly waiting to start exercising after giving birth I was cleared to walk, spin, and do pilates all in moderation while listening to my body. Luckily, baby Ella was able to come along to pilates class and sit in her car seat! Once she became mobile that was no longer an option, so Ella and I created Baby Booty® as a fun way to workout without needing childcare and hoped it would bring other parents so that we could make some new friends! I now have another baby, Beau and being pregnant a second time made me even more focused on not only staying super active everyday, but also paying attention to how my mental health may change throughout pregnancy and after. I feel in awe how much more prepared I was for my second baby now having access and knowledge of so many resources in the community aka our Baby Booty partners who bring so much support to our parents!
Baby Booty prepares you for the physical demands and of parenthood while also fostering a supportive community for you and your baby to give you what you need.
I’m a certified Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist, and Certified Barre Instructor. Ella and Beau are your certified hype squad keeping everyone energized in class! I look forward to meeting you in our Portland and Dedham studios! I live in Maine with my two kids, husband, 2 dogs and a cat named Clyde.

I live in Portland with my husband Brian, baby Oscar and our dog Charlie. He was born in February, 5 weeks early! I just LOVE being a mom! I have been working out at Baby Booty since November 2022 and really fell in love with the style of the workouts and social time. Being a first time mom, I really enjoy the community of moms and love getting to know all the babies and toddlers in class. I look forward to meeting you and enjoying a physical and mental fitness journey together! Alyssa is certified in Baby Booty® and also has training in kickboxing!

Staying connected in a community of strong Moms is so important to me as I navigate my motherhood journey. Baby Booty has truly figured out how to make those connections happen! I come to Baby Booty with an HR background in start-ups and I love that I can use my previous skill-set while learning new things in my role here! I love fitness and moving my body and you’ll see me “sneaking” in to Baby Booty classes each week- make sure to introduce yourself to me at the studio!
When I am not at the studio, you can find me taking stroller walks in various state parks and on beaches around the South Shore. I also have a deep passion for cooking anything and everything! Family time is a priority for the Sheehan Squad and I am so thankful to have my immediate family so close to me! Ali is certified in Baby Booty®

Baby booty has been instrumental in my recovery from postpartum depression. It's encouraged me to reconnect with my body, bond with my 8-month-old daughter, and make friendships with other moms. It's made such a difference in my life, which is why I now teach classes and hope to continue to create that support system for others. I’m certified as a group fitness instructor, I'm certified in Baby Booty® and I am also always continuing my education and in pre/postnatal fitness.

Fitness has always been a passion of mine and a form of self care. After giving birth, it felt like the longest six weeks where I was unable to get a good workout in. It just so happened that I stumbled across Baby Booty on social media around 6 weeks postpartum and took my first class with my baby strapped on my chest. It was that moment that I started to take a huge interest in post natal fitness. Baby Booty has given me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone to meet new moms as well as become a fitness instructor! Baby Booty has taught me the importance of making time for yourself. I am excited to create a space where mom’s put their needs first and prioritize their health and wellness! I’m certified as a group fitness instructor and certified in Baby Booty®! Can’t wait to see you in class!

Natalie is certified in Baby Booty® and also has a lot of training in karate which she brings into her Kickin' Booty class you'll see on the schedule 2x a month!

“I’m Jill and I am Leah’s mom! As a former dancer and lacrosse player, fitness has always been an important part of my life. After being diagnosed with anxiety & depression as a teenager, fitness has played an even more important role in bettering my mental health! After giving birth, I was eager to jump back into a sweat.
My friend and fellow Baby Booty instructor, Trish, introduced me to the class when I was just 8 weeks postpartum and Leah & I have been attending classes regularly ever since. Baby Booty has been an incredible part of my new journey navigating motherhood. I look forward to working out and socializing with other new mamas & soon-to-be mamas each class, especially after a tough work week. I am a Physician Assistant in the Newborn ICU and although extremely rewarding, it can be challenging at times with all of the sick little babies I work with. Baby Booty has become an important part of my life and I’m so glad it has. I’m looking forward to seeing you in class and sharing my experiences as both a new mama and newborn PA! I'm certified in Baby Booty®

Morgan first attended Baby Booty as SOON as she was cleared after her cesarean birth. She became obsessed with working out with her newborn, Ezra, and socializing with people who had mutual interests, and needs. She found a much-needed community all while starting to move her body again.
Movement has always been a huge part of her life: dancing (ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and modern) since the age of 3, continuing throughout college and adulthood while also finding an interest in weightlifting and yoga post-college. Baby Booty h s also ignited a love for Barre styled workouts. This passion sought training/certification which has gratefully turned into being an Instructor at Baby Booty. Baby Booty is Morgan and Ezra’s favorite leisure activity! Morgan is is certified in Baby Booty® and also holds a barre certification.

Anya’s passion for movement started at a young age when she started her training in classical ballet at the Boston Ballet School. Though no longer dancing, Anya’s love and enjoyment for movement has continued to evolve. From running to yoga, barre to HIIT style strength classes - Anya loves it all! Anya is the mom of Sophie, currently 11 months. She started taking classes at Baby Booty 3 months postpartum, and she became inspired by the supportive and lively community. When she’s not in class at Baby Booty, you can find Anya working as a nurse at Winchester Hospital in labor and delivery or the pediatric ICU at MGH. Anya lives in Stoneham with her husband and daughter. Anya is Certified in barre and Baby Booty®

I discovered Baby Booty in 2021 when my daughter was six months old and we were living in Portland. As a new parent, I couldn't believe there was a workout that checked all the boxes: built-in childcare, sweat-inducing movement, and encouragement to go at my own pace as I navigated my body postpartum. The social aspect felt especially safe and inviting, and soon it evolved into a community for both me and my daughter. When we moved to Boston and I had my son in 2023, I knew I needed to find the same movement and support. Thankfully, Baby Booty arrived just in time!
My goal in class is to encourage you to move your body and express yourself in a space that is warm, welcoming, and FUN! I’m also here to help you connect with the resources you want and the community you need. Baby Booty has been a big part of why I feel strong and supported as a parent, and I hope I can help extend that experience to you. I am certified in Baby Booty®

I took my first Baby Booty class during the Dedham studio grand opening in November 2023 and immediately knew it was something special. After having my first baby in April 2023 I was searching for ways to fit workouts back into my new routine. Working full-time limits the time I get to spend with my son, Ari, so I love that I can get my workout in without having to sacrifice time together! Additionally, I was missing the connection to other moms that I enjoyed while attending moms' groups throughout my leave, and I love the space that Baby Booty provides for connection - both to my body and to other parents in the community.
Movement and being active is something that I enjoy and that is important to me for both my physical and mental health. I became a certified barre3 instructor in 2017 and have been actively teaching for 7 years (including through most of my pregnancy!). I love supporting others to feel empowered to show up for themselves, and will always encourage you to workout in whichever way serves you in that moment. I also like a good spicy set - it's my goal for you to feel challenged, sweaty, and successful when you leave every workout! I am certified in Baby Booty® and also hold a separate barre certification.

I’m Sophie, Ava Jane’s mom! After Ava arrived I turned to my mom for all answers and support. She stayed with me for 6 weeks because I emotionally wasn’t stable and needed her. After she left I got myself out of my comfort zone and found different groups for new moms. Which led me to finding Baby Booty. Being able to get a workout in followed by the support of so many other new parents is amazing and has helped me in my motherhood journey. Motherhood is both emotionally and physically hard and there is no better outlet than Baby Booty. Not only do I love the 30 min workouts, but the feeling of community within the classes is amazing. Baby Booty has had an incredible impact on me and I look forward to helping other parents experience all that it has to offer.
I’ve always had a passion for fitness, sports and an active lifestyle. I have been a certified personal trainer for years and couldn’t be more excited to bring my expertise to Baby Booty! I'm also certified in Baby Booty®

As a lifelong dancer and lover of group fitness, Baby Booty quickly became a precious space for me and my toddler, Cedar to exercise, socialize, connect and grow. Our first class came amidst a stressful move from Colorado to Maine. It helped pull me out of overwhelming loneliness and into a supportive community of amazing moms & adorable little ones.
I am a certified yoga and prenatal yoga instructor with a passion for teaching classes that are both invigorating & rejuvenating. My intention, no matter the style, is to empower students to feel fierce, fluid, and fantastic in their bodies. I am excited to keep growing as a member of the Baby Booty team! Jaime is is certified in Baby Booty® and also a certified yoga instructor.

Two years postpartum with my first and though I wouldn’t trade it for the world, I’ll admit it, being a Mom is NOT easy! And for me, neither was my pregnancy. After being over the moon to even be pregnant, I soon found out I was high-risk, restricted to do certain movements, and given limits on how much weight I could pick up. I was anxious, nauseous all the time (from pregnancy and fear), and lost so much muscle mass. Eventually, I was required to stay at the hospital until her birth. My sweet daughter, Aili, was born four weeks early via c-section. After a short NICU stay, we were given the OKAY to go home, phew!
The early postpartum months brought me unexpected challenges as well. It took a lot of time, therapy, chiropractor visits, and CrossFit classes to try and feel like myself again, but I was still wondering why I was feeling disconnected after almost two years PP…
I decided to sign up as a member for Baby Booty right before my daughter turned 2 in the hopes that I could move my body in a judgement-free zone alongside other soon-to-be parents and new parents, while socializing myself and my daughter. I quickly realized this was what my body and brain was craving! The confidence, positivity and FUN that Baby Booty has brought into my life is the breath of fresh air that I needed. I feel so lucky to have found my people and be able to raise my daughter alongside such an amazing community. I can only hope, as an instructor, I can give back and shed some light on those that walk through our doors!

I discovered Baby Booty when I was 5 months pregnant, while I was searching for a mindful and fun way to exercise with my bump. I immediately found the Baby Booty community to be so supportive. Not only do you get a great workout in, but you get to connect with other moms and talk about the beautiful yet challenging ride of motherhood.
As a former collegiate athlete and a current spin instructor, there is nothing I love more than fitness with friends. It is my goal that you leave the building feeling better both physically and mentally after each class. I am certified in Baby Booty® and also in spin!

Fitness has always been a big part of my mental wellness, after becoming a mom I struggled with what fitness was going to look like in this chapter of my life. I found Baby Booty when looking for a workout option when Nola, my oldest was 6 weeks old. Having a place to go and workout where your kids are welcome and there is never judgment from the people around you is super special! If you are having a bad day and don’t want to leave your house, just get to Baby Booty because the 30 minute workout and social time after will completely change your mood! Being a SAHM can feel super isolating, and parenthood can be exhausting and overwhelming when you don’t get the physical and mental wellness that you need!
I couldn't be happier to be a part of this community and team! I look forward to getting to know you and getting our sweat on! I hope you always feel strong, confident and supported when you leave my class!I am certified in Baby Booty®

A month after I signed up for my 200hr yoga teacher training, I found out I was expecting my second child. Following a decade of personal practice, I was ready to dive deeper and learn to teach. Going through training while pregnant, I discovered how to allow the practice to meet me where I was, how to tune in to my changing and growing body, and how to hold space for others to do the same. I graduated from teacher training when I was 36 weeks pregnant and offering yoga has truly been a privilege and a gift ever since. Prenatal and postpartum yoga provides the opportunity to connect to our breath, body, and community at an important and vulnerable time in our lives.
In addition to being a Certified Yoga and Barre Instructor, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder and owner of Root To Rise Physical Therapy & Pelvic Health. As a specialist in orthopedics, women’s health and pelvic floor rehabilitation, I draw from my knowledge of anatomy, physiology and movement science in order to create safe and intentional sequencing. I am passionate about leading classes that are accessible to students of all levels and abilities and my goal is that you will leave class feeling empowered, spacious, and supported.
